国際ロータリー第2660地区第3組の
「インターシティーミーティング」の一環として、
守口文化センター・エナジーホールで写真展を開催。

The Photo Exhibition was held
at Moriguchi Culture Center Energy Hall,
as a part of the Rotary International District 2660 Group 3's
Intercity Meeting held under the theme
"To Bequeath to Our Descendants a Beautiful Planet."

写真展および「地球環境フォーラム」を開催。

The Photo Exhibition, along with
the Global Environmental Forum,
was held at Cumunale, a public facility complex within
Urawa Parco, located in Saitama City, Saitama.
|
|
|
初日のフォーラムでは各来賓からのメッセージのあと、
“宮内淳が見た20年間の地球環境”と題して講演会が行なわれました。

At the forum held at the opening
day, after the messages
given by the guests, there was a lecture titled
"Jun Miyauchi's Views on the 20 Years of Global Environment."

"Asahikawa Winter Festival," at Tokiwa-kan in Tokiwa Park, Asahikawa
City.

今年の冬まつりのテーマ“環境船・テラ”に
ふさわしい展示となりました。

八王子あったかホールは、隣にある北野清掃工場でごみを
燃やした時に出る余熱を利用した温水プール・浴室のほか、
多目的ホールやリサイクル工房などの施設があり、
建物そのものがリサイクルを象徴しています。
その中の「ECO PLAZA」にて写真展を開催。

The building of Hachioji Attaka
Hall symbolizes recycling:
its hot water pool and bath use heat generated from
garbage incineration at the neighboring Kitano Incineration Plant.
It also has facilities such as the multi-purpose hall
and the recycling work shop, and the Photo Exhibiton
took place at an open space called the "ECO PLAZA."

UNEP世界環境写真展と同時に、公募による環境作品展も開催。

The Exhibition was held at the
3rd floor of
Kanagawa Plaza for Global Citizenship (Earth Plaza), alongside
a different exhibition of citizens' works related to the environment.

Added to that, a full lineup
of related events, including
a screening of the movie "Deep Blue,"
a soap making class for children and their parents, seminars,
and lectures,
helped people think about the environment
during this meaningful month and a half event.

桜井環境副大臣、小野神奈川県副知事も出席されての
オープニングセレモニーと宮内理事長の環境講演で幕をあけた
写真展は、毎日大変な人出で賑わいました。

At the opening ceremony, which
was attended by
the Senior Vice-Minister of the Environment Sakurai and
Vice Kanagawa Governor Ono, Chairman Miyauchi gave
a speech related to environmental problems.
The photo exhibition was lively, with a large number of attendees
everyday.

The Exhibition was held at the
2nd floor Central Lobby of
the International Conference Hall to coincide with the G20 Meetings
(Ministerial meeting of the Gleneagles Dialogue) at Makuhari Messe.
It was a wonderful opportunity to show the photographs
to environmental leaders from different countries.

held at the 4th floor of Omiya Sonic CityHall.
Being a joint corporate job fair aimed at applicants seeking
to start or change jobs, this fair also had
displays informing companies' environmental efforts.
